Bandera County Animal Control

For information on your pets or to adopt pets
currently at the Animal Control Facility,
please call the Bandera County Sheriff's Office
and ask to speak to an Animal Control Officer. 830-796-3771

The adoption process here is fairly easy.
Make an appointment to come see the pet you are interested in.
Read and fill out an adoption contract, pay $25.00 + Rabies Vaccination fee
(check or money order only)... take the pet home, have it spayed/neutered.

By State law you MUST have the pet spayed/neutered
within thirty (30) days of adoption.
Proof of the spay/neuter must be returned to Animal Control.

A FREE Spay/Neuter Program is offered by
Hill Country Animal League to owned pets of Bandera
County residents. The program includes: spay/neuter,
rabies vaccination and microchip.

When inquiring about an animal please identify the
animal by his/her facility NUMBER and Name.
You can find the animal's number and name
posted to the right of the pictures.
